Remedy Teas, Seattle

So, there’s this amazing place in Seattle called Remedy Teas that I discovered last quarter. I wonder how I missed it, I actually live 4 blocks away from it. This is hands down the best Tea shop I have ever been. Remedy Teas offer a huge selection of 150 organic teas from all kind and from all over the world. White, Green, Black, Oolong, Herbal… some of them are mixed for specific purposes (hangover tea, relief for colds, deep sleep, extra caffeine, etc), it’s just amazing to enter the room and see their entire collection on the walls. It is so overwhelming at first. I love the location too, on 15th Avenue, way more chill than other parts of Capitol Hill such as Broadway and Pike – that’s probably the reason why it took me 4 months to find that place. They have big windows and a nice little patio. It’s all very cozy and the atmosphere is perfect to relax with a book or a laptop. They also have provide free Wifi and they’re open til 11PM. It’s very modern inside and they always play some chill and ambient music, never too loud. I just love this place. I always bring one or two bag of leaves home. Here’s what I got. I love them all.

Blue Hawaii
Take a dive in to antioxidant-rich white tea swimming with real coconut and vanilla flavor. White tea, coconut bits, fresh coconut essence, madagascar vanilla pieces and blue malva flowers.

Grenadine Dream
You may want to pinch yourself to make sure you aren’t dreaming after sipping this smooth and mellow tea. Enjoy black tea bursting with fruity pomegranate grenadine flavors blended with light, exotic caramel vanilla essence and marigold blossoms.

Earl Classic
Classic Earl Grey black tea. Famously fresh, citrusy classic taste loved by generations of tea drinkers. Black tea hand blended with authentic Sicilian bergamot and blueflowers.

Deep Sleep
This potent mix of herbs is bound to help send you to la-la land while tasting like a dream. Chamomile, rosehips, lavender, pink peppercorn, valerian, honeybush and kava kava.

Black and Blue
Say goodbye to the blues and hello to a bright cup with fresh, lightly sweet berry taste. Blend of black tea, hibiscus, elderberries, currants and cornflowers.

Green Energy
A dynamite tea that delivers a citrus-fresh, stimulating cup with serious horsepower. Green tea combo, ashwaganda (a powerful Ayruvedic herb), ginseng, gogi, licorice, citrus peel and citrus essence.

Silver Needle
Classic “Yin Zhen” white tea from China. A beautiful, subtle and prized tea that produces a light golden cup with woodsy body, unique, savory aroma and a delicate, honeysuckle sweetness. Considered one of the finest and subtlest of classic teas.

Silk and Citrus
Slip into this smooth blend and say “hello sexy” to this special tea. Roasted oolong pouchong is blended with vanilla, citrus and lemongrass for a creamy smooth, refreshing and warm taste.

Spiced Orange
Tea lovers rejoice for this classic citrus-spice combo. Ours is carefully blended to be superbly smooth and delicious. A bold combination of orange bits, assam tea and cinnamon.

Darjeeling
Classic “Darjeeling” from India, from the Selim Hill garden. Considered the champagne of black teas, this first flush tea is from the renowned Namring Estate in Darjeeling, India. Beautiful flavor with a delicate, flowery and fruity finish.

Peppermint
Add some zip to your day or night with a tea that soothes and refreshes. Peppermint is known as a digestive tonic and has many other uses. It tastes excellent on its own or blended into a number of endless combinations.
